Reverend Cheryl Wright
Praise the LORD! Praise God in his sanctuary! Praise him in the sky, which testifies to his strength! Praise him for his mighty acts! Praise him for his surpassing greatness! Praise him with the blast of the horn! Praise him with the lyre and the harp! Praise him with the tambourine and with dancing! Praise him with stringed instruments and the flute!
Praise him with loud cymbals! Praise him with clanging cymbals! Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Praise the LORD! (Psalm 150)
It’s all about the praise for this woman of God!
Reverend Cheryl Wright was born in Cleveland, Ohio to James and Bernice Buford. She is the third oldest of five siblings.
The heart of Reverend Wright’s ministry is to motivate God’s people, particularly women, to learn of Christ and ultimately accept Him as their personal Savior. She acknowledges the privilege and responsibility that God has placed upon her to seize every opportunity to share the word of God with those she meets along her Christian journey.
In 2012, Reverend Wright received her Bachelor of Divinity degree and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Springs of Life Bible College. She is a licensed and ordained minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. She plans on pursuing a Master’s and a Doctors of Divinity Degree in the future.
For the last twelve years, Reverend Wright has been employed at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in the Department of General Surgery. She is a volunteer with the clinic’s “MedWish” program which provides much needed surgical equipment to hospitals and clinics overseas.
Constantly seeking ways to grow and develop her ministry, Reverend Wright attends the annual Life Renewal Ministries women’s retreat sponsored by the Springs of Life Bible College.
Reverend Wright is a loving and devoted wife to her husband, Reverend Doctor Glen Wright. They are the proud parents of Timothy, Brian and Leslie and the loving grandparents of Janiah.
She works tirelessly along side her husband in developing a ministry that will touch the hearts and minds of others and prayerfully helping them to know the love of Jesus Christ.
Reverend Wright is a compassionate and caring woman. She readily avails herself to assist others in their time of need. Psalm 150 undeniably personifies this woman of God! She will witness for the Lord and offer praises to Him be it in the church, the grocery store or on the job! She loves the Lord and is not ashamed to let others know.
Reverend Wright’s ministry is one that while it includes all people, she places a special emphasis on women. She is keenly aware of the trials and tribulations women face today. She desires to allow the Lord to minister to women who need to know that someone cares for them, someone loves them and more importantly, that someone is praying for them.
